Get Started

As someone who cares about the environment, you have the ability to inspire your co-workers and lead environmental change within your company or organization.

Fill out the short questionnaire below so we can suggest some ways for you to get started on going green at work. Don’t worry, after you've taken it once, we'll leave managing your ideas and activities up to you.

  • Q1. How much knowledge do you have of environmental issues?

    • I don't know too much, but I do know that our planet needs help and that I can make a difference.
    • I am steadily building my knowledge and recognize that business can be a part of the solution.
    • I have a strong understanding of the challenges we face today and that businesses can – and must – play a key role protecting the future of our planet.
  • Q2. How equipped is your workplace for sustainability initiatives?

    • Apart from myself, there really isn’t anyone else who is working on environmental issues.
    • There are several others who informally organize environmental activities at work.
    • My workplace or office has a dedicated “green team” tasked with leading sustainability initiatives at work.
  • Q3. How supportive is management of sustainability initiatives?

    • Management is so busy; I don’t think sustainability has made it to their agenda.
    • Management is starting to talk more about the environment, but they haven’t really integrated sustainability into the workplace culture.
    • Sustainability is a key organizational priority and management is supportive of initiatives that help us  reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Q4. How interested are general employees in sustainability initiatives?

    • Employees don't seem too interested; building awareness about its importance would be useful.
    • Employees are somewhat interested in sustainable business practices, but it is important that initiatives are fun and easy to do.
    • Employees understand that reducing our workplace footprint is meaningful work, and are looking for more ways to help make a difference and go green at work.
